Kathy Shroyer, Chief Executive Officer
Kathy has been employed with CCP since 1986 and is currently serving as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. She has built a career working in the field of supporting individuals with disabilities. In addition to working at CCP, Kathy is also the founder and CEO of Staffing, Training, and Alternative Resources (STAR Services, Inc.) a training, staffing, and consulting resource for social service agencies, individuals, and families. She is also Co-founder/Director of Legacy Endeavors, Inc., an agency that provides in-home supports, residential services, supported employment services, and independent living services to adult with disabilities. Kathy is truly passionate about working in the disability field. Her joy stems from giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of the many people she meets. Kathy feels fortunate to have a professional career that has given her the opportunity to make many lifelong friends, while contributing to progressive services in the variety of roles she has held. Kathy is a member of several community organizations and associations including: The MN Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities, ANCHOR, ARRM, and ARC of Greater Twin Cities.
Lori Jasper, Chief Operating Officer
Lori has worked with CCP since 1987 and is currently serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Starting as a direct support professional with CCP, Lori feels privileged to have been a first hand witness to the difference quality care and services can make for an individual. It is what first motivated Lori in her job that continues to motivate her today: the spirit of, “Yes we can,” and being a change maker. Lori takes pride in assisting people live their life, their way. She feels that one of the greatest honors and humbling experiences is having individuals trust her to support them, or their loved one, in a manner which respects their personal choices and dignity. According to Lori, “It’s great when we get it right and difficult when we don’t”. Lori advocates for an individual’s right to live in a location that helps them remain as independent as possible. A pivotal moment in her career included working as a certified occupational therapy assistant at a large institution in Wisconsin. According to Lori, “At a multi-disciplinary team meeting, the psychologist announced to the team that the twelve year old boy who I was working with did not fit the criteria to be institutionalized and was going home to live with his family. I was the only person who clapped, pumped my fist in the air and exclaimed with excitement, “All right!” Lori’s passion for a person’s independence is still as strong today as it was then, and this passion is evident in her work at CCP. Lori is a member of a variety of community organizations including; Ramsey County Citizens Advisory Council on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and ARC Greater Twin Cities.
April Bauer, Chief Information Officer
April has been employed with CCP since 2005 and is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for the company. Prior to working with CCP, April worked in the finance departments at the Minnesota Autism Center and Meridian Behavioral Health. April uses her natural ability for understanding finances and technology to help support individuals receiving services through CCP. According to April, she has always enjoyed helping others and being involved with system implementation. April identifies the most enjoyable aspect of her job as being able to contribute to providing quality services to individuals by assisting them behind the scenes with her gift for financial and technological comprehension. April is a member of the Healthcare Finance Management Association. She will also be serving as a healthcare panel member at the Microsoft Convergence Conference in 2011.
Alison Campbell, Executive Director
Alison is an Executive Director for CCP and has been employed with CCP since 1998. Alison states that working with CCP has enriched her life as an individual and has provided her with the opportunity to grow in a number of positions in a strength based environment. Alison loves working in the disability field and being able to share her individual strengths and interests in community building with others. Alison considers herself a self-proclaimed life coach. She deeply listens to the hopes and dreams of those she serves and considers it a blessing to be a part of their lives. Alison is committed to a person-centered service philosophy, which helps individuals with disabilities live their lives their way. Alison is a member of the Minnesota Consortium of Citizens with Disabilities (MN-CCD) and is a board member for the Association for Persons in Supported Employment (APSE). She is also an advisory member of the Stepping Stone board; a project designing a vocational focused residential support for transition age individuals with Aspergers.
John Rentschler, Executive Director
John has been employed with CCP since 1998 and is currently serving as Executive Director of Development and Innovation. John has spent his professional career working in different capacities within the disability field, including working with individuals with challenging behaviors, severe and persistent mental illness, and developmental disabilities. John says that one of the greatest work honors he received was a big enduring smile from a woman he taught to tie her shoes while working at the state hospital. He was also privileged to help reunite twin brothers who had not seen each other since they were children. John finds inspiration in the strength and determination that individuals with serious disabilities and their families have, despite their daily challenges and difficulties. Observing this true heroism is what John finds most enjoyable about his chosen profession.
Eric Pederson, Executive Director
Eric has been employed with CCP since 1996. In 2007, Eric started as the Executive Director for CCP Self- Directed Services. Eric has worked as a direct care staff, a live-in staff, and an ABA therapist. In addition, he has also worked as a consultant since 2001, where he assisted in the development of Consumer Directed Community Supports for CCP. Eric identifies being a part of the development of Consumer Directed Community Supports as one of his most gratifying professional accomplishments. According to Eric, the most enjoyable aspect of working in the disability field is the constant change that occurs while striving to obtain the best possible systems and services to support people with disabilities. Eric serves on several advocacy committees working to further the development of self-directed services in Minnesota.
Laurie Tazelaar-Williams, Executive Director
Laurie has been employed with CCP since 2010 and is currently serving as Executive Director for case management services, adult day services, and vocational services. Prior to working at CCP, Laurie held various roles within the social service field including Louisiana State Director of The Mentor Network and Executive Director for Legacy Endeavors, Inc. Laurie is excited to be part of the expansion of services within CCP, including opening an adult day center to serve elderly individuals. She enjoys utilizing her background and skills to contribute to the development of the continuum of care within the organization. She also enjoys making a difference in the lives of others, no matter how small the difference may be. Laurie is a member of ANCHOR, APSE, MHC, and MADSA. She is also serving as a board member for Episcopal Group Homes.
Heidi Wolverton, Human Resource Administrator
Heidi is the Human Resource Administrator for CCP and has been working closely with the human resource team since 2006. In addition to her work with CCP, Heidi has consulted with a wide variety of organizations that provide services to individuals with disabilities, providing HR expertise. She has been working in human resources in the disability field since 2002. Heidi takes pleasure in knowing that the company for which she works makes an impact in the world. She states that she enjoys working to make a difference in the lives of others and not just working for profit. Heidi is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers.
Brian Evans, Finance Administrator
Brian has been employed by CCP since 1997 and is currently serving as the company’s Finance Administrator. Brian began his work with CCP as a direct care staff and has held a variety of positions within the company including house manager, quality assurance, human resources, and in finance. Brian enjoys working in the disability field and feels that his work allows him to provide something meaningful and useful to his community. He believes working for CCP will help make a difference in disability services for the world at large. Brian is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers and APA.
